I love the new staff at Star Prairie Vet Clinic. I own 2 small rescue dogs and they were so nice! One dog is very timid/shy and the staff was very loving and weren't rough at all with either of them.
One of my dogs has had lots of ear issues and I had gone to a previous vet multiple times for over a year trying to figure out the issue. After one visit Dr. Katie had the problem solved!
We have two cats and a dog and bring all three there! I love that they also have immunization clinics once a year for a discounted price and its on a Saturday!
They were friendly and helpful. Nice to my pets and showed genuine concern. I like them!
Dr. Eric was an amazing vet, but now with Dr. Katie taking over, I will never be going back. I cannot say enough nice things about the remaining staff aside from her, they are great. I brought my dog in Thursday afternoon and expained to Dr Katie that I thought he had a blockage. I wasn't aware of anything that he had gotten into, but all of the symptoms lead to that. She gave him a shot to help with constant throwing up and sent us home. I had to bring him to the emergency clinic last night where it was confirmed that he did in fact have a blockage, and he had to be put down. I'm not a vet, or even close to being one, but even I knew what it was, and I would expect when you express to your vet that your dog hasn't eaten, drank any water, or pooped for 4 days, that they would be able to recognize that. I was charged over $300 for her to do nothing, and well over double that to bring him to the emergency clinic. When I called her this morning to let her know that he had to be put down, I was told that she wouldn't have been able to do the surgery there anyway, she doesn't work on dogs that large, and she would've had to send him somewhere else anyway. Dr. Eric had performed surgery on this same dog in the past with no problems. I loved being able to bring my pets to my local small town vet, but I will never be going back again. RIP to my big baby Jack.
Love Star Prairie vet! Very easy to get the care you need for your fur babies! I was sad to hear Dr Eric go but Dr Katie is very nice and caring. She was so gentle to my cat who was absolutely terrified when we brought her in.
Really great vet clinic, exceptional animal care and prompt services! They offer very competitive prices, and it's always clean and well kept. Proud to bring my fur babies here!
The entire staff made me feel welcomed. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable, and really listened to me. The tech, Beth, was super helpful and personable. She did great with my dogs. I'm super happy with my experience with Dr. Katie and her team. I'm recommending them to all my friends and family.
